Having been used for more than 20 years, the TCA peel is a non-toxic chemical peel. TCA stands for trichloroacetic acid which is considered a relative of vinegar. This particular type of chemical peel is considered to be one of the strongest available and is often applied to the face and hands. Neck area WILL NOT be treated. It is important to understand how a TCA works, what conditions can be treated and understand the commitment this peel entails. Patch test required 2 days prior to peel.
